SILT was originally formed as SILT Consultants in the year 1979 and is the first Nepalese privately registered firm specialized in geo-technical investigation and materials testing. SILT was converted into a private limited company in the year 1981. The establishment of the company took place during the time when consulting business had just started in the country. SILT, therefore, takes pride to be one of the pioneering firms in the development of Consulting Industry in Nepal.
